PSD Families, we have some exciting news!
We are thrilled to announce that we are moving our studio to a beautiful, larger facility this summer! Our new home is just one block away (you can see it from our parking lot!) and is designed to be an amazing place for dancers and families. We know you’ll love it! Our summer schedule for classes and camps at our new dance home is accessible at the bottom of this message! (registration is open online now – enjoy priority registration for two weeks until we open registration to the public on March 15!)
I know that several of our prime-time classes are full or past their capacity, our lobby/lounge areas and parking lots are often overflowing, and that we have a need for more dance studio rooms. We are so excited to let you know that we’ve heard and understand these concerns. Our new, larger facility will remedy these issues!
Our new dance home is 225 Northland Court NE. It is currently the home of National Dance Academy – Cedar Rapids. We are excited to welcome the NDA dance families to our community at The Pointe! We will continue to offer safe, healthy, and positive dance education in a family-first studio environment and are thrilled that those values will impact more students.
The facility features:
- More than double our current number of parking spaces and square footage!
- Large and spacious lobby, reception, and lounge areas
- 4 individual bathrooms
- Large girls’ dressing room with storage cubbies
- 4 dance studio rooms – one very large, 50’x50′ sq ft studio, two studios about the same size as our current rooms, and one smaller room (about 25’x30′)
- More studio rooms = more prime time classes available, wider variety of class styles and offerings, and more flexibility in scheduling – which means fewer late night classes and late pickup times!
- Each of these studios is outfitted with top-of-the-line marley dance flooring
- Great retail boutique space – you can expect the same great dance shoes and clothing in our dance shop!
- Multiple entrances to avoid the crowded hallways, entrances/exits between classes
All this – and it’s only one block away from our current space – no change in your commute time to and from the studio.
We are so excited about this beautiful facility – and to welcome the great community at National Dance Academy to The Pointe School of Dance!
