Even though we take a nice break for the holidays, December is a full month at The Pointe! We are gearing up for our Nutcracker performance and Holiday Showcase!

Message from Miss Vanessa:
To me, the end of the year is so exciting. I’m always trying to plan 5 years ahead and be ready for the next thing or the next way to keep improving what we do at the studio – and the holidays are a great reminder for me to take a minute to sit back and remember why what we do is so important. We do what we do in the studio every day to help raise up incredible kids and to enrich the lives of families in our communities. Spending time with family and knowing that we’re creating some great family memories with our holiday shows warms my heart even more than the best hot cocoa 🙂
Holiday Showcase 2019

Our Holiday Showcase is a great informal performance experience that is so much fun for the dancers! Dance is truly a performing art, and we learn and grow so much by preparing for and participating in a performance. This is a great practice for our bigger, more formal recital in June – especially for young and new dancers. Mr. Aaron, our performance coordinator, has prepared awesome choreography and plans for this performance!
Online ticket sales (with an incredible deal of $5 tickets!) ends December 13! Remaining tickets will be $8 at the door.
Dancers from The Pointe will Perform with Ballet Quad Cities in The Nutcracker!
This week is Nutcracker week! Dancers from The Pointe will be performing as the Angels in the Ballet Quad Cities and Orchestra Iowa Nutcracker performance on Saturday, December 7.
We have a great partnership with Ballet Quad Cities and are so honored that they have chosen to invite our students to participate in their Nutcracker performances each December for several years!
