Message from Miss Vanessa:
WOW the time is flying! We hope your families all had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving break and a chance to enjoy the holiday with family and friends! I’m working on keeping a consistent attitude of gratitude and keeping the Thanksgiving Spirit alive throughout the year – we have so much to be thankful for, and our PSD families are at the top of my list!
We have a busy December coming up – a Nutcracker performance, our Company Preview and Holiday Show, and fun one-day camps for dancers (a great chance for parents to run some holiday errands!)
Calendar:
Friday, December 2: Our students will perform with the Moscow Ballet in their Nutcracker in Fairfield, IA!
December 10 & 17: North Pole Dance Camps – for dancers ages 3-7! Check your inbox this week for more details on how to register!
Sunday, December 18: Company Preview Show and Holiday Show (see this page on our website for exact times and to order tickets!)
December 22 – January 3: Winter break (Wednesday classes have their makeup date from our Nutcracker auditions on 12/21).
Reminders:
We are working on some BIG studio improvements – right now, we’re upgrading all of the lights inside (we just finished the exterior lights!) – please pardon our mess while we work on this big project! These new lights should help all of our rooms feel bigger and brighter, and will significantly lower our energy costs – which will help us be able to keep costs for families low and allow us to continue to improve!
There are some GREAT sales happening in the Dance Shop leading up to winter break! We’d love for you to shop local and find some awesome gifts for the dancers in your life at our shop. We have different sales each week – stop by to see what’s new!
Our lobby furniture is all-new to us (it was custom made for us this summer!) – please help us keep our spaces and furniture nice and neat. Thank you!
Absence Reporting:
If your dancer will miss class, we appreciate a heads up so our teachers can plan accordingly for classes. Please use the form at the bottom of our website (in the blue bar that says “PSD Absences”) to let us know of your absence. Dancers who miss a class may attend a similar or lessor level class of the same genre within two weeks of their absence. Company dancers, please use the form “Company Absences” in the blue bar at the bottom. This form is the best way to let us know!
