October is a busy month at The Pointe – we’re SO excited for Discover Dance Days, our Parade & Pumpkin Party Dance Camp, and Costume Week! This newsletter is full of important information. Please read this and keep it for your reference.

In October, we really feel like we’re getting into the “groove” of the dance year. This month, we’re opening our doors and classes for everyone to give a new style a try during Discover Dance Days, representing PSD in the Halloween Parade, and at the end of the month, we’ll reveal our costumes and music for Recital 2020!
Discover Dance Days
Discover Dance Days are the best way to try out a class (or two!) at our studio for free! For the week of October 12-18, classes with openings are open to the community for Discover Dance Days! Dancers who already have a class can try another, and new-to-The-Pointe dancers can come get a taste of what our studio is all about.

Parade & Pumpkin Party Dance Camp!
Dance with The Pointe in the Cedar Rapids Halloween Parade! Learn the dance, make a craft, and have a snack with friends in the afternoon from 1:30-3:00 and then perform in the parade that evening!
Where: The Pointe School of Dance
When: Saturday, October 26, 1:30 – 3:00 PM
Who: Children ages 5+ (no dance experience required!)
Cost: $30, includes parade registration and t-shirt
