September 2020 Dancers of the Month

One of our favorite rhythms at the studio is selecting a few dancers who have really stood out for going above and beyond in work ethic & kindness around the studio every month.  Now that we’re back in the studio for our school year season and we’re finding the groove of our fall routines, we’re excited to get this tradition back up and running!  Please join us in recognizing and congratulating our September 2020 Dancers of the Month!

Dance & Discover – Kadyn P

Kadyn was nominated by Miss Christine: “Kadyn is in my Dance & Discover 1 this year, and was in my Mini Movers class last year.  Last year, the class really was focused on learning to stay on their spot and participate through the whole class.  This year, she has demonstrated that she knows the names of the movements we practice each week and the order of our class!  She is helping her classmates who are new to dance and were nervous the first few weeks. I’m so proud of how she’s grown!”

Elementary School – Charlotte H

Charlotte was nominated by Miss Hope: “Charlotte always comes to my jazz class towards the end of the night with a smile I can see through her mask!  She is working SO hard every single week to get her double pirouettes.  She is one of the most determined dancers that I have worked with!”

Middle/Intermediate School – Katie H

Katie was nominated by Miss Vanessa and Miss Hope: “After learning an entire new dance in one short weekend (her Intensive Track trio with a guest choreographer), she has done amazing with the memory!  We can tell how much she is practicing at home to work on that dance.  She’s had such a strong start to the year – and we can’t wait to see how she continues to grow!”

High School – Shayla C

Shayla was nominated by Miss Vanessa and Miss Josie: “Shayla has had an amazing start to the year in her weekly technique classes and company routines.  In company classes, she helps others get caught up if they need help with a group part or difficult sequence.  In addition to a strong start leading by example in her competitive rehearsals, Shayla jumped in to assist our Chance to Dance class.  She brings joy and hard work to every class – as a student, teammate, and assistant teacher!”
