What to Expect for Your First Class at The Pointe
Trying a new activity can be overwhelming. Our team is dedicated to ensuring your first experience at our studio is easy, comfortable, and memorable. Here are a few tips for starting dance at The Pointe:
View our dress code and purchase dancewear here. If you don’t have a chance to purchase dancewear before your first class, dancers should wear comfortable clothing and socks.
Arrive a few minutes early, so your dancer can get settled and use the restroom.
Parents and families are welcome to wait in the lobby while their dancer is in class. Our space includes viewing windows and/or livestream access so you can stay connected to your child’s experience. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available, and we offer a small selection of toys and activities to help entertain younger siblings.
If your child feels a little nervous, that’s completely normal! Our teachers are experienced in helping new dancers feel confident right away.
