We know that behind every dancer is someone making it happen: driving to class, finding the missing tap shoe, offering encouragement, and supporting through every new challenge.
Parents and caregivers, we see all you do - and we’re grateful for you! November 9–14 is Parent Appreciation Week at The Pointe, and we have a week of fun planned to celebrate the grown-ups who support our dancers.
💃 Join Your Dancer in Class
You’ve watched through the windows... Now it’s your turn to step onto the dance floor!
During Parent Appreciation Week, join your dancer in class to experience a little of what they’re learning, try something together, and see just how hard they work. No dance experience needed, just a willingness to move and have fun!
A few things to know:
One grown-up per dancer, please. Parents and other special grown-ups are welcome!
No siblings or additional children in class. Please arrange care so you can focus on this time with your dancer.
Dress to move! Wear comfortable clothing and leave street shoes outside the dance room.
Kids love getting to be the expert and show their parent how dance class works. Be ready for some active fun!

📸 Make a Memory Together
We’ll be taking photos of dancers and their grown-ups during class throughout the week. Step into the picture and capture a memory of this season together! We’ll have our polaroid set up and our staff is happy to get a picture of you and your dancer together!
👟 Try an Adult Class for FREE
The dancing doesn’t have to stop with your child’s class! During Parent Appreciation Week, PSD parents can try an adult class on us:
Adult Jazz: Monday, 7:30–8:15 pm, Studio C
Adult Tap: Monday, 8:15–9:00 pm, Studio C
Adult Ballet: Thursday, 7:45–8:45 pm, Studio C
No prior experience necessary. Come move, laugh, and enjoy a little time for yourself!
